Bamboo Plants Online ships live bamboo plants directly from our Florida nursery. Every plant is shipped in its original nursery pot with soil intact so that it arrives healthy and ready to plant.
How Bamboo Plants Are Shipped
Each bamboo plant is shipped in its original 1 gallon or 3 gallon nursery pot. The root system remains fully established in the soil during transport, which helps protect the plant and reduce transplant shock.
Before shipping, plants are watered and carefully packaged to prevent movement inside the box. Protective materials keep the pots stable and shield the foliage during transit.
Bamboo Shipping Boxes
Our shipping boxes are designed specifically for live plants. They allow airflow while protecting bamboo during transportation. Most orders ship using ground carriers so that plants arrive quickly without unnecessary time in transit.
Shipping bamboo in pots means the plants are heavier than bare-root shipments, but this method dramatically improves plant health and survival during shipping.
Depending on plant size and order quantity, multiple plants may ship together in reinforced cartons.
Transit Time
Because we ship from Florida, most deliveries to the southeastern United States arrive within a few days. Orders are packed to maintain plant health during transit, but we still aim to keep shipping times as short as possible.
Shipping outside our current service area is not available because longer transit times increase the risk of plant stress.
Delivery Expectations
When your order arrives, remove the plants from the box as soon as possible. Bamboo is very resilient and typically recovers quickly after shipping. Give the plant water and place it in a shaded area for a short adjustment period if needed.
If you plan to plant immediately, water the bamboo well and follow our recommended planting guidelines.
